The Blind Spot Was Structural, Not Accidental
Endpoint security was designed around a model where software is installed by IT, behaves predictably, and either is or is not malicious. AI coding agents break every part of that model. They are installed by developers, they act with those developers' permissions, and they behave differently every session because a language model is deciding what to do next.
Working with security teams, the same conversation kept repeating: the EDR platform could not say which AI tools were installed, the AI security vendors had no endpoint agent, and the compliance platform could only record that a policy document existed. Three categories of tooling, none of which could answer what an AI agent did on a laptop last Tuesday.
Kraitos AIDR is the answer to that question. One agent that finds every AI tool, reconstructs every session, scans what those sessions contain, enforces policy locally, detects conventional threats, and produces compliance evidence as a byproduct of doing all of it.
Detection Has to Live Where the Agent Runs
Three commitments shape every decision in the product.
- Endpoint-resident, not proxy-based. Tools that never route through corporate infrastructure - including local inference - are invisible to a gateway. Detection belongs on the machine.
- Specific over comprehensive. Security buyers have been pitched by twenty vendors this quarter. We publish specifics - what we detect, what we block, what we prove - instead of adjectives.
- Developer experience is a security control. A control developers route around protects nothing. Redact-and-allow, sub-millisecond local evaluation, and a silent agent exist for that reason.
Kraitos Is Built by Adsero, LLC
Kraitos is the brand; Kraitos AIDR is the product. Both are operated by Adsero, LLC, a Florida company based in Tampa that also does business as Adsero Security, which brings the enterprise security and compliance background the product is built on.
The name carries the point: the word Kraitos contains AI, and the wordmark says so in red on every surface it appears.
